Common water heater problems we fix
- No hot water. Often a failed heating element, thermostat, pilot light, or gas valve.
- Not enough hot water, or it runs out fast. Could be sediment buildup, a worn element, or an undersized unit.
- Leaking. Some leaks come from fittings and valves that can be repaired. A leak from the tank itself usually means replacement.
- Strange noises, usually sediment cooking at the bottom of the tank.
- Discolored or smelly hot water, often a corroding anode rod or rust inside the tank.
- A pilot light that will not stay lit, or an electric unit that keeps tripping the breaker.
